  Tranquil stay in a beatiful old mansion

  Liked: A lovely traditional old home with high ceilings, polished wooden floors and huge rooms (ours was anyway) all immaculately clean. Breakfast was really nice - fruit, cheese, ham, breads and bacon and eggs/omelettes freshly made. When we stayed, it was 38C but the rooms were a very comfortable temperature so absolutely no problem not having A/C - these houses were built to stay cool in the summer. Very tranquil stay and friendly service.

  Wonderful place to stay!!!

  Liked: The breakfast was copious and delicious with fresh fruit, eggs & bacon, lots of different breads and so much more. The staff went out of their way to help us. The whole place was so traditional and there was an atmosphere of calm and beauty. I wish we could have stayed longer!!!

  Beautiful Heritage Property

  Liked: We loved the old-school Solar de Serrade features and historic charm of the building. Plus, the property was exceptionally clean and fresh. A perfect stay! Lady in the front was very nice too.

  Liked: Staff was really kind and helpful. Location is quite peaceful, taking a short walk during rhe day was the best idea. The place is very pretty, it was like we are in a movie. Amazing breakfast!

  Disliked: Wifi is not working. It can be really cold at night. If you use fireplace it is too bright and noisy to sleep and if you dont use, it is too cold. Mattress really needs an update as the bed was quite uncomfortable to sleep. Overall the place was not great to rest.
