We loved it here and would visit again

Liked: Gorgeous little stay and we wished we could have stayed longer. There is plenty to do in the area. The view and sunset were amazing - the peace every night was really special. This would be a great place to be with friends or family as well. So nice.

Beautiful location if you don’t mind cats

Liked: This house could not be in a better location, it’s at the end of the village right next to the castle. Good restaurants and cafes a two minute walk away.

Disliked: Owner advised us the night before our arrival of a problem with cats. They live in his back patio and the smell of cat pee is overpowering plus you cannot leave a door or window open otherwise the cats will enter the house. If I had known about this then I would have cancelled. Owner failed to email me the access codes, had to go chasing him. Thought the bath towels could have been better quality

Liked: The location of this house is perfect - close to restaurants and shops, and at the foot of the castle! It is spacious and nicely appointed with furnishings.

Disliked: Kitchen needs to be much better equipped. The village cats - all 13 of them - live on the patio. The cat urine smell on the patio was so overwhelming we couldn't sit out for wine at sunset. And, I love cats!

    loved the location

Liked: The location was amazing, with castle views right from the window. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi outside.

Disliked: The living room furniture was a bit worn. More instructions for the jacuzzi would have been helpful.

Confortable apartment in very unique, historical location

Liked: Very nice apartment in very unique location. We loved this place and the atmosphere of the little village. Staying here is a very unique experience...like going back in time 500 years. The apartment itself is well equipped and comfortable, but the location is what makes it so special. We travelled in the off season so there were not crowds of people and this added to the overall atmosphere. Don't miss the House of the Inquisition. Walk through the whole village -- there are only two main streets.

Disliked: Finding this place was a challenge. We arrived in a rainstorm in a car...the house itself (like all houses in the village) is not clearly marked. The roads are very narrow and some are one-way only. We had to ask people in a cafe and several of the neighbors before we found the right door. Everyone was happy to help -- but it would have been easier with better instructions from the owner -- or if the owner had met us for check-in.
