Very good
Liked: Location was very good. The lady that welcomed us was very nice. Comfortable seating. An outside patio. You can't beat if for the price. The cheapest accomodation around.
Disliked: Very dark, but that can't be helped. Old cooktop, not enough pans with lids. One big bed in the room would be better than 2 beds. Missing some items in kitchen. With some upgrades it could be a 10. It has enough potential.
Cosy village house
Liked: It was nice to stay in a traditional Portuguese village house with loads of character. We really enjoyed the little enclosed garden behind the house. Convenient parking and great exercise hiking up to Monsaraz castle. We enjoy staying in quiet villages, if you're looking for a party atmosphere, it's not the place for you.
Disliked: Nothing to do with the accomodation, but we were disappointed the barbecue restaurant next door was closed for several nights.
Nice with some imperfections
Liked: The house is typically old fashioned Alentejano, which gives a nice sense of authenticity. The location is very good and there's generous parking space.

Liked: Lovely little house. Everything you could want. Highly recommend.
Cosy place perfect for a short stay in Monsaraz
Liked: Perfect location, about 10 minutes drive from Monsaraz beach. The property is located next to a restaurante, however, there was no noise whatsoever. The owner is a lovely lady that lives up the road (this was her grandmothers house). She gave us advice on what to do and what to see.
Disliked: The double bed needs to be changed. My husband is 1,90m and could not fit (also, it was really unstable to support the weight of 2 people). Not a problem if it is just two of you, as there is another bedroom with 2 beds. The patio chairs need to be updated. Quite rusty and uncomfortable.
