Exceptional
Great place to stay just outside of Monsaraz!
Liked: This little house has it all. The renovations have been done tastefully and you know you are staying in an old building but with modern comforts. The kitchen has everything you need for a stay, the pool is perfect for a dip on a hot day, the bedrooms are comfortable with everything you need, the bathrooms are very well appointed. Great location, we found a cafe for our breakfast just down the street, and there are nearby restaurants (next door) if needed as well.

Liked: Comfortable, beautiful and tastefully decorated. Coffee pods, a welco.ing bottle of wine, so nice. We highly recommend this place. The hosts were responsive and all essentials were provided. We would return without hesitation.
Disliked: We really liked everything but the pool could have used a cleaning. We understand that is hard to do daily. Also, a kitchen towel would have been helpful.
Liked: Excellent location — the house is set in the heart of the historic area, just a short walk from the castle. A truly authentic and atmospheric place, full of character. The house is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details: cozy, comfortable, and very well cared for. You can really feel the love and attention put into every element. The hosts are incredibly kind and responsive, always ready to help. A perfect place to slow down and fully enjoy the surroundings.
Disliked: The nearest large grocery store is about 10-15 km away. There may be a closer one, but we didn't find one.
