    Stay here, yes

Liked: As you all know it's in an old old monastery. It's old able beautiful inside. Marble bathrooms, huge stone door frames, and three breakfast was like a very expensive hotel. Christina the receptionist was friendly, spoke english very well. Have is and the other guests run of the place to check out.

Disliked: Nothing really. Now of you think I don't give bad reviews, you should checkout some of the others places we've stayed this trip.

    A Museum/Art Gallery with bedrooms!

Liked: A really interesting place to stay. Like sleeping in a museum almost. The building has been beautifully restored and renovated. There is art everywhere and all of the communal rooms are open for guests to explore. Also a great little games room. Breakfasts are also very good and there is an outside balcony you can sit on. Rooms are clean and with shutters blissfully dark. Close to Monsaraz - you can walk in 30min and also the near by lake beach.

Disliked: This was our most expensive accommodation of a 2 week trip in Portugal yet the only place where you had to pay extra for the water or coffee pods supplied in the room which felt unnecessarily miserly. Some additional outdoor space and/or a pool even if away from the main building would make this place almost perfect.

Amazing, historic and intriguing place to stay

Liked: I loved the location as well as the history behind the old Monastary that turned into a hotel, the hallways are amazing and nicely covered in art as well as display on relics and other historic artifacts.

Disliked: Maybe a little more variety for breakfast and some labels but nothing else, it’s perfect.
