  Quirky hotel

  Liked: We ejoyed our stay here. We could hear and see the sea from our room. The swimming pool was an added bonus for us as the weather was pretty hot whilst we were there. The breakfast was adequate with lovely fresh friut. Yes, you can hear some noise from the rooms next door and Cockerell in the morning but it didn't bother us.

  Liked: Location. Pool and pool area.

  Disliked: Very disappointing. Definitely not as described. Very noisy, walls are paper thin so you can hear every noise from the adjoining rooms. Plumbing is also very noisy so any time a tap, shower, flush is used it's noisy. But most annoying are the nearby ( next door) chickens and cockerals. The cockerals crow at dawn, which in our case was 5.30 and go on for several hours and are impossible to sleep through. Definitely not the relaxed and chilled out vibe as described. Also the beach is definitely not a 5 minute walk away. At least 15 minutes down very tricky terrain. It's a shame as I would love to recommend this hotel as the staff, breakfast, pool and overall feel is good. Ok for maybe a night or two but no more if you want to chill and relax.

  The view and location made up for most of the less comfortable details

  Liked: Location, staff, breakfast

  Disliked: Noisy bathroom, we could hear the neighbors take a shower at 7AM, neighbors smoking in their room and some next to the entrance so the smoke came into the hallway and into the room, dark room, some heavy smell
