Liked: The location just below the castle was so idle and pretty that tourists were taking photos in front of it. The interior was a fascinating maze of bedrooms and living spaces harking back to its conversion from a family home to a boarding house.

Liked: You can’t beat the location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent

Óbidos gets better later in the afternoon when all the tourist buses leave
Liked: Location was excellent. Breakfast was awesome. Host was really friendly and easy to communicate with.
Disliked: Bed is probably ready for a replacement.
Fantastic stay in this médiéval town!
Liked: Loved this property in the town of Óbidos. We received a warm welcome from the staff - who were very helpful. The room was very comfortable with a nice view. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed meeting other travellors. The town is very busy during the day with tourists. We did day trips to the coast and returned in the evening when the town was much quieter. Highly recommend this guesthouse - the location was wonderful!
Awesome location in a modest guest house
Liked: The location was brilliant. Easy to find right at the end of the main walk and a charming entrance way. The property is quaint and quirky in a good way.
Disliked: The hotel is in need of a few upgrades including furniture and in particular the bathroom. Better signage as the when the office is attended/not attended and instructions on where you can leave luggage before check in would have been helpful.
Good location to visit the castle
Liked: The location was the best, it was next door to the Castle which was our main objective. The pool table was a lot of fun, my grandson learned how to shoot pool.
Disliked: Our arrival went very well, room was nice. The next day when we returned in the afternoon, our room had not been cleaned, nor were there any clean towels. At breakfast, it was nice, not great, but when they were out of coffee, I was instructed to a little espresso maker in the hallway. No instruction on how to use it. We were still in the time frame for breakfast. Disappointed.
