  Lovely airy room overlooking the square & river

  Liked: Beautiful place with lots of history. Breakfast exceptional- freshly ground coffee and squeezed juice etc

  Disliked: Couldn’t use the kitchen upstairs ( only microwave) despite it all working

  Wonderful stay, spotless room and lovely staff

  Liked: We absolutely loved our stay at Mercearia da Vila in Ponte de Lima! From the very first moment, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness and genuine care, right through to our departure. The room was excellent, everything was spotless, and the staff were incredibly professional and attentive. A truly wonderful experience on the Camino de Santiago. We highly recommend it to all pilgrims looking for comfort and heartfelt hospitality!

  A week on Camino and this was best place we have stayed. Sorry we did not stay longer!’
