  Great stay in a big, comfortable apartment

  Liked: The apartment is amazing: very big with all you would need for a relaxing stay. It looks exactly as on the photos. The kitchen is well equipped, washing machine and dishwasher were also a great help for us during our stay. We liked that there was a desk to work and also a big terrace. Nilsa, our host, was very nice, always available on whatsapp whenever we had any questions. The beach is about 20 mins walk or 6 mins by car and Portimao is a good location to discover Algarve (we drove to Faro, Silves, Ria Formosa National Park.)

  Disliked: The bed was too soft for us and a bit narrow, may be it could be changed, but that is a personal thing. We loved everything.

  Highly recommended apartment in Portimao. Well within walking distance for most local attractions, and a very short and

  Liked: The proximity to everything. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere we needed. The apartment is well stocked with all necessities when we arrived, to give us a week of breathing space before doing a major shopping run. Everything is extremely clean, we are very fussy, and it met all our requirements! Their local representative looked after any issues that popped up promptly. She is a real gem.

  We loved our three day stay here … half hour drive to Bengali caves and Hanging Trails walk

  Liked: Exceptionally clean apt with well stocked kitchen and huge balcony. We esp loved the wall mounted clothes drying rack on the balcony; and secure parking facility for our vehicle. Safe and quiet building. Nilsa was lovely!

  Disliked: Photos in apartment description show a view of the beach. But it’s actually a 10-15 minute walk ( no problem for us, but this information might be helpful to some ).

  It is a nice apartment, but, whilst walkable, it's a little too far from the beach

  Liked: it was well kept, clean, and comfortable. All the facilities are there, washing machine, dish washer, cooking facilities. Housekeeper very friendly and helpful. Overall I am positive about the apartment, you be happy here.

  Disliked: I thought the accomodation had a reception, only to discover it was privately owned on arrival. I really didn't know how to enter the property, and found myself emailing the owners, via Booking/com website. I don't know what would have happened if my phone had no charge, I arrived lateon a delay. It was a little bit stressful. in the end the clearner wandered down, and ask if I was the customer. Personally I think there should have been better clarity, communication regards this point. However when I got inside, it was comfortable.
