  Disliked: Check-in was done in a hotel 10 min away. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Utensils were very basic and not suitable for a longer stay. The shower was broken and uncomfortable, the towers were the bare minimum.

  Disliked: Night time overly loud. Slamming of the main building entrance door was so loud; street noises till 3am - although keeping the windows shut at all times, the noise was so annoying. I would not recommend it at all, if you are looking to enjoy a peaceful holiday break. Very little help from the reception. We had to ask for replacement of the four chairs we had in the apartment as they were all broken - the hotel then gave us another 3 chairs and left us with these 4 faulty chairs in the room for the rest of our stay. We were told that the day after, they were coming and pick them up - they never did. The A/C worked only to one direction - they said that they were going to fix the vent - they never attended the apartment. Cutlery provided was poor standards - we were two of us with the use of one teaspoon and one knife. Hygiene wise - the bathroom had, once we got in - pubic hair and dust, not a nice start at all! Felt like - they leave you on your own as you are not in the sister hotel, so they don't really care. The place is definitely OVERRATED! I would not recommend it. I have read through the reviews and the answer/feedback following the reviews - it feels like the hotel is copy/paste the answers. Disappointed. the beach nearest to the apartment is overly busy and the seaside it is not the greatest at that point - walking along the beach to reach a bit quieter beach is worth.

Please note that meals are served at Hotel Santa Catarina, located on Avenida Tomás Cabreira, 1640 feet from Apartamentos Mirante da Rocha.

Cleaning is done every 3 days and bed linen changed once a week.
