  A comfortable, spacious retreat in Portimao

  Liked: The outdoor entertainment space and the air con! Within walking distance of Praia Rocha, but in a nice quiet area.

  Comfortable but inland from main attractions

  Liked: Modern ground floor apartment, large outdoor area with BBQ

  Disliked: Pool was not usable during our stay, which was not notified to us. Apartment is a bit isolated - 20 min walk up/down hills to get anywhere, (eg old town, beach, shops) so not suitable for the elderly. We used Ubers to get anywhere; (approx 4euros per trip)

  Liked: The hosts were extremely helpful. Contact with them was easy. The apartment is lovely. Fantastic outdoor space with a BBQ. Nice pool area. Well equipped kitchen.

  Modern, well equipped apartment

  Liked: Large, well equipped patio and facilities. Queen size beds in both rooms, large tv. Good ac. Pool. The management representative was responsive after the initial check in.

  Disliked: The BBQ was a charcoal type and a hassle to use. Needs a propane one. The bed sheets were well worn and one was torn. Some minor maintenance issues. The location of the apartment was not clear and we were not contacted by the management company representative causing significant confusion on our arrival.
