  Liked: Is a good location and uncomplicated to stay at

  Disliked: The place would profit from a rebreanding or expectation management. For a 3 star "Hotel" it's rather poor. But for a hostel or a honestly it could be really nice. Maybe get some new towels at primark or so and be very clear about the bathroom situation and all is fine.

  Liked: The owners allowed us to keep our luggage after check out

  Disliked: The bottom area smells like smoke. The room we stayed in was so hot, one fan, 2 simple towels for 3 people. No soap. No coffee or water. The pillows were so flat. Shared bathroom with liquid soap that had been watered down. Overall felt like a lot more effort needs to be made to make it valuable for the price we paid which was 50 pounds a person in a shared room. New towels, proper soap, coffee facility, new bath mat, fresh hand towels in room and bathroom.

  Delightful hosts in a surprise home

  Liked: This property was a delightful share facility in the owners home. Looked very plain from the street but it opened into a well appointed dwelling. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Room was large with a lounge chair, balcony looking over the street and a double bed. The large bathroom was shared with another guest room. This was not a problem for us. This home had a kitchen and dining and outdoor garden patio area available for us to share too. In our time there we did not take advantage of this. It was a short walk to eating places and the Portimão waterfront precinct. Free car parking nearby. We would stay here again.

  Disliked: It was pretty hot and while the was a fan provided the room was not Air conditioned. That would have made it really excellent.
