  Lovely stay

Liked: Lovely large studio with a good sized balcony that had the sun in the morning. It had a nice pool with comfortable sun beds. The location was a short 10 min walk to the old town with a large selection of bars and restaurants. The central bus stop is in the main town so good transport links. There’s a great boardwalk by the marina. We walked from portimao thru Praia de Rocha and onto Alvor - beautiful walk

Disliked: The dogs! Neighbouring villla had dogs that did not stop barking overnight. I know the hotel can’t control this but it did did disturb our sleep. The pool area was great but would be improved by closer loos and drinks service

  Not great value

Liked: Style of the hotel, pool area.

Disliked: Lack of maintenance to room (incorrect showerhead, smelly drain/WC, jets on bath shut-off). Male shaver hair around the sink. Would have complained but only stayed one night. Lack of restaurants within walking distance.

  Very good standards

Liked: 2 bed apartment was great with huge balcony overlooking pool. Staff very pleasant and place was very clean.

Disliked: Not much negative to say. Food options could be better and distance to town is not far but not close either!
