Liked: I was welcomed in so warmly on my first day. From the beginning, the community was vibrant, tight-knit, and friendly! They were very flexible with booking surf lessons and overall the facilities were clean, spacious, and cozy. Good vibes. Shoutout to the great breakfast too, I made it a point to wake up earlier than normal to eat it! Inês was lovely to meet and was always around to help with questions or needs. Thanks to Zoe, Lisa, May, Vici, and Roberta for their hospitality too. I hope to be back again!
Liked: Nice common areas. Nice staff. Great breakfast. Safe parking inside. A/C.
Disliked: It took me 2 hours to check in at 6pm since no one answered the door bell and the phone rang the owner who is not on the island. Apparently the bell was broken. The room was packed with 7 to 8 people most of who came to bed way past 11pm. The lockers are open by a code which beeps, which is very annoying at night. The room was not very clean. The big duvet is a bit too much when nights are at 20C, even with A/C. The kitchen is out in the back of the building which is inconvenient. No nice place to hang out/sit/relax in a garden outside.
Liked: I had the best time. Really nice and helpfull staff and really good food:)
Amazing place to be!
Liked: The Staff was amazing: Sophia (the cook) did delicious dinners, Ines (the one who does it all!) had incredible recommandations regarding the activities, view points or restaurants around the island and everyone in general were happy to help and contribute to the community atmosphere of the place! Only optional, we participated in a few group dinners, yoga sessions and surf session and we would highly recommend.
Disliked: From another continent, we were slow to understand that the cold/heat appliance in the room COULD do both and we didn't think to ask!
A wonderful host and the place is sweet!
