Lovely Spacious Apartment
Liked: location, spacious, view, nicely decorated and comfy beds.
Disliked: The climb up the stairs was quite a workout as there was no elevator, however, we knew this prior to booking. Just didn't realize how many flights of stairs there actually were. The bathtub grout desperately needs to be replaced as there was black mold, which has the potential for health issues, as well as unsightly and makes the tile/tub feel dirty. Otherwise it is a lovely apartment with a spectacular view.
Liked: Ocean view apartment was all that you could wish for amazing views and location.The apartment was equipped with absolutely everything terrific amazing spotless! We were met at the apartment by a fantastic member of the Management team who was extremely helpful in every aspec.Will definitely be returning soon and would recommend to anyone.
Disliked: All good no issues with anything amazing stay!
Liked: A warm welcome, with bread and cheese on the table. An ever-changing view across the ocean. The bed was very comfortable. Coffee, tea and basics such as dishwasher tabs were stocked. The living space was lovely.
Disliked: The apartment would have benefitted from a few more plates, etc, and different types of glasses. It needs a bread knife. We were only left 2 toilet rolls for a 9 night stay. Written instructions on recycling/ bins, etc, would have been useful. Anyone who has difficulty with mobility should be aware that there are 5 flights of stairs to the apartment. None of these things were a big problem, but small changes could make a big difference.
Beautiful apartment and amazing views!
Liked: Really nice apartment! Gorgeous view of the ocean and town. Best place we’ve stayed at on our Portugal trip. No elevator but not a problem for us.
Disliked: The fellow who let us in was not from the area-could not give us any info where to eat etc. He was in a big hurry. We asked for extra towels and beach towels. He wrote back once to say the beach towels would not be available until Monday (the he day before we leave). No other communication. Not allowed to use bath towels for beach however.
Liked: The view is great. The place is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Very spacious and very comfortable for a group of 4 to stay. The parking spot behind the building is very convenient.
Disliked: Communication can be better. We were given the wrong contact number and name at first. We could not reach the person after a few failed attempts of texts/WhatsApp/international calls… We had to wait for 45 minutes for the second contact person to show up, although we communicated the arrival time and flight number a couple of days before our trip and even notified the contact person when we were on the way from the airport. The entrance of the building stinks.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was very pleasant and we would return to this location
Liked: The location was lovely, safe and quiet. Really appreciated the level of cleanliness. Enjoyed the sunlight coming into the apartment. The fresh bread cheese and wine upon our arrival was a nice touch.
Disliked: The delays in responses from the host regarding questions prior to our arrival. The fact that after our arrival the host never contacted us again during our two week stay to see if we needed anything. Would have appreciated having a toaster for bread on site.
