Nice apartment in Ribeira Grande
Liked: The apartment is very spacious and beautiful. Communication with the hosts was good. They gave us all sorts of recommendations and were always available. We had a minor accident where a bedside lamp broke, but we didn't have to pay for it. Everything was clean, new, and functional. It's well located for visiting the north of the island, and the beach is very beautiful, although swimming is difficult because there are always waves.
Disliked: Some cats live on the property, and at night they would meow (they were in heat) and wake you up. The garden is their territory, and it was annoying to be outside with the cats around, begging for food or attention. If you like cats, it won't be a problem for you. Some additional shelving in the bathroom would be appreciated. The terrace area was a bit dirty.
Liked: The apartment was well-maintained and spacious. We really loved the location — it was peaceful and in the countryside, yet still close to Santa Barbara Beach.

Disliked: The smell of damp in apartment and too narrow beds for two adults.

Liked: Very convenient location, if you have a car, it's easy to get to any part of the island from here. The owner is very accommodating and quick to answer any questions. We had a bottle of wine and sweets waiting for us at check in. The apartment is spacious with two separate bedrooms, washing machine and everything you need
Disliked: The apartment smells like cows and there are a lot of flies
