An extremely clean room with a kitchenette
Liked: Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was very large and comfortable; I slept very well. The building is located in a quiet area. A pleasant stay.

A retreat on the Camino
Liked: Incredible stay after a big day on the Camino in the heat. I didn’t read the fine print when booking and was pleasantly surprised with a pool on arrival! Made me feel human again after staying in Albergues. Highly highly recommend staying here. Like a little retreat

Liked: There was a beautiful and big garden. The old gentleman that greeted us was very sweet!
Disliked: If your destination for the Camino is Viana do Castelo, the property is nearly an hour away from it. We had previously read from the reviews that people were able to use their neighbours swimming pool, however the owner informed us it was reserved but we did not see anyone using it.
Liked: We stayed here while doing the Camino and I wish we had more time to hang around. Paula has a beautiful retreat! You will have to walk a few extra kilometers, but it was totally worth it! We cooked our own dinner (bought fresh veggies and fruit from the lady just down the road) and we ordered basic groceries (delivered by Uber) and made our own breakfast. The kitchen is fully equipped. The outdoor area is also lovely and we truly enjoyed our stay.
