Celeste is a wonderful host!
Liked: Outstanding facilities. I was given a fan for my room, which was wonderful, but the outer temperature kept the house very warm.
So welcoming! Felt like staying at our families home!
Liked: Celeste was so accommodating and just a lovely woman! She made us feel so welcome, me and my girlfriend had to get a photo with Celeste because she was just super! Jardim da Celeste is super clean and tidy with state of the art toiletries and comfortable beds! The breakfast and/or packed lunch was also fantastic! My girlfriend’s hip was sore from our previous walking and Celeste massively cared for her wellbeing, showing us where to go to get medicine and public transport for her should she choose not to walk. Would highly recommend! Peter & Alyssa

Liked: The property was very clean, location was fine, bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The host was quite frankly extremely difficult at times. Ridiculous rules in the house, extremely strict. It felt like we were guests at her home (staying for free). The host would constantly grab my face, make inappropriate comments and making me feel very uncomfortable, telling me to follow the rules. The most important rule being: - do not make a sound when closing or opening old wooden doors (believe me we tried to be extremely quiet to the point where it was ridiculous abd just looked silly) I was told 5 times before and during eating breakfast and called out infront of other guests about those rules, which I absolutely know I followed. At one point the host waited outside of my bathroom door (which is btw NOT in the bedroom although advertised as private) to complain I closed the door too loudly at 9am in the morning. After apologizing multiple times this matter was then mentioned multiple times as written before while rudely pointing to a paper telling me to close the door more quiet. To be spoken to like this at breakfast and infront other people was unbelievably rude and unfair. As a quick note, not the hosts fault but the Room was covered in mosquitos to a point where we couldn’t sleep in there anymore. There was no net to prevent that. I shoulve read the reviews more accurately because after staying i took a more explicit look and can see that multiple people actually agree. So please reconsider your Booking before making.
