Liked: I’ll start with the conclusions: we had a great time, the stay was very comfortable. The house is very spacious and well-equipped, with a beautiful terrace and an absolutely essential garage with direct internal access. The location is enviable; situated high on the Areosa hill, with a 360-degree view of the ocean; we will miss the air and the view more than anything. Great kitchen, comfortable rooms. Highly recommended for enjoying the sea and exploring northern Portugal; we visited Braga, Guimarães, of course the town of Viana itself, Barcelos, Esposende, Moledo, Caminha, and took a trip to Porto, all within a maximum of 1 hour by car. Fabulous beaches within 30 minutes. The staff at Gereviana were present, never intrusive, and very accommodating. Go there.
Relaxation with a view and well equipped house
Liked: Quiet location.Sea view.Pefect place to take our dog as plenty of walks nearby
Disliked: Perhaps that no restaurant or cafe nearby to walk to but didn’t bother us as lots of places not far away by car
Exceptional
Liked: Excellent location, closed to beaches, wind spot and town of Viana. Ocean view is not only Villa’s bame, there is actually a stunning 180 degree view on the ocean from the patio and rooms.
Very peaceful quiet location, great views (when the clouds cleared) and the hosts were very helpful
Liked: Location was excellent for our needs - a base to travel and explore the Viana and wider north coast area.
Disliked: The living spaces could have been more homely - eg. pictures, plants as without this made the home less welcoming. Its not a bad aspect however.
