Good
Nice hotel with good views, food not great
Liked: Very nice large room with balcony overlooking the river.
Disliked: Restaurant was a buffet with only one main to choose from which wasn’t particularly tasty. Stayed for business so wanted to iron a shirt for meeting the next day but was told that “they did not do irons”. I have never stayed in a hotel that could not a least supply an iron.

A comfortable stay in Vila do Conde
Liked: This was a large hotel for the area & we only stayed one night as the Camino called. It was very comfortable with a good breakfast. The hotel was not central & as we were walking, we could have done without the extra distance. The room facilities were very good, lovely bathroom & good bed. Staff a little remote. We enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: My room & my daughters could have been closer to each other.
Liked: Fontana Hotel & Spa was a perfect stop on our way to the Camino de Santiago. Very romantic, especially the pool in the evening. We loved that it stayed open until midnight. Our room had a large private terrace. The breakfast was amazing, with so many choices that I didn’t even get to try everything I wanted! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others!
