  Loved this stay, one of our favourite place we stayed on the island

  Liked: Away from the hustle and bustle, easy to find, good location. Very modern lodge and loved the time just to be able to chill and switch off. Great host and made our honeymoon a bit more special.

  Fine for a place to sleep in between exploring the island. Not a place to spend your day

  Liked: Location was good. The cleanliness was very good. Security was good. All the hot water you want and hotter than you will ever need it!

  Disliked: Entire grounds and buildings are very dated. The grounds are neglected. A small pond in front of our cabin that should have been a plus is green and algae covered and the low fence surrounding it is rusted and falling down. No geese/ducks present as shown in the adds. Trails thru the grounds are overgrown and plants in various stages of decay. Inside: Observations - Several lights did not work. The outlet next to the bed stopped working in the night twice. Woke up to an uncharged phone. Jiggled the plug and it did not fix it. Switched outlets on the dual plug outlet and it worked. The TV kept coming on by itself. The dining table rocked badly. Had to stuff cardboard under a leg to stop it. Minor annoyances? Maybe. Quaint and rustic. Was very nice in an earlier time. Needs a lot of attention and maintenance. Does not match the price-point we paid.

  Lovely views, cozy stay

  Liked: The location is quite beautiful, we liked all the flowers and trees, and its minutes from the ocean, Villa Franca, a big grocery store. The cabin itself was more stylish than we expected, the furniture is modern, and cozy. We liked having access to a fridge and microwave and plates and such.

  Disliked: As you probably already read, careful going up the driveway.

  Liked: Great location, near Vila Franca de Capo, clean and confortable. The staff was really nice, great communication. The cottages are equiped with everything you need.

  the most homey, relaxing stay

  Liked: The location is so private and the staff were very helpful with everything we needed. The little dog was the highlight of our trip and we will be back in the future.
