  Liked: The gentleman awaiting with the keys at the local of the property was very polite and informative, making our arrival and ingress in the flat very easy.

  Disappointing experience

  Liked: Rooms were a good size

  Disliked: Beforehand I kept getting messages asking for extra money and saying it was for city tax that was calculated wrong but nothing was adding up. I had to get on to booking.com who confirmed they shouldn’t be asking for extra. Arrived finally but address on booking.com takes you nowhere near the resort. Boiler in one apartment was leaking, someone came out to check but said he couldn’t fix and likely nothing be done during our stay. One patio door didn’t lock, someone had to come out to add a lock, one fob for main barrier didn’t work, all things you would assume would be checked beforehand! Then the pool went wrong, I messaged to tell the company this as who else would I messaged and they said not there responsibility? Well it should be to an extent as our stay includes a pool and if we can’t use it then that’s not correct! Just a bit of a nightmare, apartments run down, balcony’s dirty, sofas sunken.

  Spacious apartment in a great location with a responsive host, though some areas need maintenance

  Liked: Check-in was easy, and the location is excellent with convenient access to public transportation. The apartment is spacious, featuring four bedrooms. The host was very responsive and accommodating to all our requests.

  Disliked: Some walls showed signs of water leakage, and a few facilities felt outdated. The apartment could benefit from some maintenance.

  Very good

  Liked: The house was spacious and comfortable for our group.

  Disliked: The pipe from the water heating device needs to be fixed. Guests should de made aware of this in advance. In our case we only noticed this when water was pouring from the receptacle making a watery mess in the kitchen. Having more than one key to the pool area it would be nice.

  Brilliant for the money!

  Liked: Beautiful apartment in a quiet part of Vilamoura. Great facilities for self catering. Close to Vilamoura and Quarteira, but not walking distance. Lots of parking and great pool area.

  Disliked: Not a negative, but would recommend hiring a car if staying here. Knew the area well due to staying at Pine Hills numerous times, but would not say it was within walking distance of Quarteira or Vilamoura.
