  Location

  Liked: Location was perfect and everything was brilliant. Close to ocean and restaurants. A real gem of a place. Clean and comfortable.

  Spacious apartment

  Liked: We arrived when the reception was closed - the instructions to get the key from the lock were very clear. Likely because we were outside the busy season, we could get the key a few hours earlier than check-in time and to check-out a couple of hours later. The girls at reception were extremely nice, making us feel they wanted us to really have a lovely stay. They helped us with various touristic questions we had. The apartment was spacious, clean, has all amenities (bathroom, including a wash machine, kitchen, bedroom, and a balcony with table and chair and a drying rack). It felt safe, both within the complex and walking to the complex from the beach/town. The complex is located at the end of Quarteira town which means further away from loud beach bars, lovely walk to go out for dinner.

  Disliked: The bed was a little bit soft, nonetheless it was still comfortable. A set of birds came twice a day in the tree in the courtyard of the complex, Once in the morning between 7-7:30am, and once in the evening, about 12 hours later - one may find their chipping lovely or quite noisy.

  Liked: Good location, very close to beach and restaurants. Clean and comfortable and spacious. We loved the balcony, the apartment was on the corner and the balcony wrapped around 2 sides. We were arriving after reception closed and the instructions were really clear and easy to pick up keys and get in.

  Disliked: Apartments are in need of serious investment. They appear to have been fitted out in the 1990s and not improved upon since then.

  Brilliant - would definitely return

  Liked: There are 2 buildings to Apartamento Carteia, I stayed in the Perolo do Atlantico building. I arrived late at night but I had been sent detailed instructions how to get my key and how to get to my apartment. The apartment was well equipped, clean and perfect for what I required. Location is brilliant, right at the beach and only a 5 min walk to a great supermarket that has a lovely fresh bakery section. I was able to borrow a hairdryer from reception. The lady in reception was so helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

  Disliked: Only minor downside is the pool in the Perolo de Atlantico building did not get sun in the morning, but this is no fault of Apartamento Carteia. The pool in the other building did get the sun early so I just used the pool over there.

Please note that for reservations up to 7 nights, only 1 cleaning and 1 change of towels will be done. For reservations with 8 or more nights 2 cleanings, 2 changes of towels and 1 change of linen will be done. Additional cleaning or change of towels and bed linen will have a surcharge of EUR 15 per service.

Please note that WiFi connection is only available at the reception area.

From 1 April until 30 September:

All days: 9:30 - 12:30 / 14:30 - 18:00

Guests that have check-in and check-out on days that the front desk is closed, will have their service guaranteed when informed the arrival time in advance. Please contact the property directly.

Cats are not allowed.

The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. For reservations made by a third party, an alternative payment method will be provided.

We accept pets upon request with an additional cost of €10.00/per night. Only small dogs are accepted. Not all the apartments can accommodate pets.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
