  ATISMAR HOTEL

  Liked: Location. Near to beach and close to Faro airport. Staff friendly. Nice and bright rooms with balcony..

  Disliked: The room could do with maintenance. Small jobs but worthwhile. Sink was missing plug and if anything fell in it wud go straight down plug hole! Patio door catch was broken. Bath could do with deep clean as stained and rust along edges.

  A great hotel for a short stay in Faro

  Liked: Staff were very helpful with my booking and the location was great - 20 minutes to the airport, right next to the sea, lovely clean rooms and food was good. Wait staff were excellent during breakfast and dinner service.

  Disliked: I liked it all. For a short break, this was highly recommended. Ok, the lifts were small, no kettles in the room, but I’s read that and brought one. You could borrow from the hotel also. There were no surprises other than being pleasantly surprised.

  Liked: The food was mostly very good and all the staff very friendly and helpful

  Disliked: The steps from the pool bar to the pool need a handrail for guests with limited mobility. The refurbished rooms do not have drawers on bedside cabinet/table which makes them quite cluttered and the rooms have no chair, and we had to bring in a plastic chair from the balcony

  We want to return here!

  Liked: Luis is the heart and soul of the hotel—a wonderful person who is always ready to help. My son and I were pleasantly surprised to be given a room on the 11th floor, offering a magnificent view of the city and the ocean. The hotel’s location is top-notch, very close to the beach, which is both wide and clean. Almost everyone of the kitchen staff, however, were very pleasant, and the meat and fish dishes were delicious. A special thank you to the ladies who cleaned our room—they did a great job every single day, keeping it spotless. Overall, we would love to come back!

  Disliked: On the downside, the water in the swimming pool was very cold in October; the selection of desserts was limited and often not very tasty; and there was one unpleasant woman working in the dining area who always looked dissatisfied.
