  OWNER IS A PAIN AND IF YOU STAY HERE, BE PREPARED TO CLEAN AND SOLVE THE PROPERTIES ISSUES

  Disliked: The apartment is in a great central location, and Fernanda, who welcomed us, was lovely and kind. However, it was clear she's limited in what she can do to support guests due to the apartment owner. Unfortunately, the owner was unhelpful and rude, making it incredibly difficult to resolve any of the issues we encountered. We've stayed in many Airbnbs and Booking.com rentals across Europe and have never experienced as many problems as we did here. To start, the air conditioning units are very old and leaked water constantly when in use-we had to clean up puddles multiple times instead of enjoying our vacation. There was also no working internet in the apartment. Fernanda did her best to help, but the owner told us to call the internet provider ourselves. That's unacceptable, guests should not be expected to troubleshoot utilities during their stay. There was no remote for the cable TV, making it unusable. Basic supplies were also missing: no shampoo, no body wash, and only two rolls of toilet paper were provided for four people over five days. These are minimal essentials that should be standard. To top it off, we were informed at check-in that the dishwasher was broken and would need to be fixed during our stay. While Fernanda and a technician did come by, it still added to the stress. Coincidentally, the AC started leaking again right as they arrived, thankfully they were there to witness and handle it. The location may be beautiful, but the apartment itself is not ready to host guests. It needs major updates and proper management. It's shocking that Booking continues to allow this property to be listed in its current state. Our time here felt more draining than relaxing, and we were genuinely relieved to leave. The owner was a complete pain to deal with, and that alone would keep us from ever recommending this place.
