  Perfect hotel for a relaxing treat on the way to the ferry

  Liked: Convenient location just 1 hour 20 from Santander on our route from Murcia to the Ferry. Well worth the short detour off of the main route, lots of free parking on site, which felt safe. Lovely historic building in a beautiful setting, our room overlooked the outside terrace with far reaching views beyond. Room was clean and had a very large comfortable bed. We didn't take breakfast, but had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the evening we arrived. Lots of walking trails nearby, we managed a short one after arriving, which was great after a long drive the car to get there. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Will definitely stay again.

  Excellent posada with equally excellent staff and food

  Liked: The hotel is located in the countryside right away from any settlements; however it is very easy to find. It is not located near to restaurants, shops and other facilities. The hotel has a large free car park on site. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with good facilities. The hotel is lovely and a good place to relax. It also has a restaurant and bar serving a wide range of food which is exceptional in quality. We ate there often! The breakfast was also good; I had the impression that we could have ordered anything in advance, but we opted for the standard Spanish fare of coffee, fresh juice, toast, jam and cake. The hotel is lovely and a good place to relax. Special mention must go to the staff; including Honório, the owner, and Julian, the head of catering; both went out of their way to ensure that our stay was extremely pleasant.

  Disliked: Nothing, it is a perfect place to stay.

  Overall 9 out of ten, perfect until breakfast offered

  Liked: Love the remote setting and food in the restaurant was very good, if a little expensive

  Disliked: The breakfast was not as expected after the dinner was so good. Perhaps it’s a price issue, but as it’s so remote more substantial offerings would make it a perfect place to return to.
