  Odd place, there are better near by

  Liked: A good base for the area but not a great place to stay

  Disliked: Annoyed that the spa was charged at 25euro for one hour! Outrageous. We had planned to chill out here for a couple of days but despite there being very few guests they put us in a room right by workman doing repairs with very noisy machines. Not a relaxing place and the restaurant didn’t get great reviews so all in all not the chill out break we were hoping for.

  Good value for the money but definitely not 5 stars

  Liked: The building and decoration. And its location.

  Disliked: They want to charge you for everything. They make it look as if there is an indoor pool open to everyone but you must pay 25 euros per person (plus having to buy a cap and flip flops to them). Minibar was empty. They charge you to use the pool table. They told us dinner was not possible because it was full and half of restaurant was empty and no reservations appeared later

  Liked: Lovely building and good location. Comfortable room.

  Disliked: Some small but annoying details, e.g. We had a bath tub but no taps to fill it with! Lift did not start from ground floor but from a level 10 steps up. Some views from the hotel were spoiled, e.g. by the car park and by solar panels Artwork and decorative furniture were not to our taste!

  Disappointing and not fair value for money, definitely not a 5-star hotel

  Liked: The location was beautiful. One or two staff were good. The bed was very comfortable and it was all clean. The breakfast was great. It was a quiet location.

  Disliked: It should not be listed as a 5-star hotel. It is a 3-star hotel based on the facilities and the service. Firstly, the staff were not very helpful when we arrived. We had to carry our heavy bags to our room by ourself. There was a casual and poor attitude from many staff, some of whom had an over-familiar attitude. Our villa was expensive and was more like a cabin in a holiday camp. It was dark, the mini bar was completely empty, the shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor whenever we had a shower, the lounge was old without cushions. We booked dinner one night for 8pm. We turned up, and with no apology, were told bluntly that we would have to wait until at least 9pm to eat because a large group of drunken young British men had arrived and were all eating in the dining room. We have been in Spain for a month and have stayed in 10 other 4-star hotels and all of them were excellent, far exceeding this one, so we know this behaviour by staff is not typical in Spain, it is particular to this establishment. We observed that it must have extremely poor management and that they poorly train and support their young staff.
