Liked: Location was beautiful and owner was very helpful and friendly
Disliked: Kitchen was small but was a perfect place to stay as a base.
Perfectly fine. Be aware parking is tricky but fine if you're happy to walk 10 mins
Liked: Location in the very atmospheric historical area of the city very close to the big church and castle. Compact, clean, tidy apartment with good facilities. Wifi was good. Cooking facilities are a limited but ok. Key is in lock box and I used google translate to communicate via Booking.com messaging with the owner and had no problems.
Disliked: If you have restricted mobility and absolutely need to park right next door to your accommodation this might be tricky as this is located in the historic quarter where most roads are single vehicle width and you cannot park a car outside as you will block the whole road, there is a lay bay for parking immediately road around the corner in Calle Mayor for 3 vehicles but it is very popular you will be lucky to get a space! Don't be put off though, as if you don't mind parking 10 minutes away then you can park down by the river past the 4 towers, you drive down an embankment to get to this from C. Muro Santiago (its past the 4th tower on right as you drive from the bridge), it is well used by the locals, has loads of space, is free and is very well lit at night, I parked my transit van down there and had no problems.
Ideal
Liked: Despite me having no Spanish, the host was incredibly helpful. The location is amazing, right beside a local bar that serves a wide selection of Belgian beers. I was travelling by motorcycle and the secure,covered parking around the corner was a godsend. The appartment was clean and warm.
Disliked: The parking requires a bit of skill if you are in a car. It's a very tight fit up 2 floors.
