  Great place not too far from the airport

  Liked: Location was perfect for our last night. Near the airport, but not too close. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked well. The kitchen was well equipped. The extra 1/2 bath was very nice.

  Disliked: The 1/2 bath doorway was hard to open and dragged on the floor. It would be easy to fix.

  Good for a night or 2

  Liked: Location is good only a half an hour from Madrid which makes it a good place for 2 nights to visit the city by car. The host is kind and always responding quick for any questions. During our stay there was a heat wave so we have appreciated the air conditioning very much!

  Disliked: The apartment needs a lot of renovation, floor and walls are broken with some moldy places but luckily not in the sleeping rooms. A window in the sleeping room cannot be locked and it doesn’t give a feel of safety since it’s easily approachable by someone’s or the owner’s garden yard. The mattress is too soft and feels old. This place needs a little more attention to get to higher than a rating of 6 or 7

  Liked: The location was great, very quiet and secure. Also, the apartment was fresh and clean

  Disliked: The handrail up the stairs was too short in length, not allowing us to use the handrail to help us over the top step

  Disliked: MOLD MOLD MOLD MOLD in every room!!! Both bedrooms, kitchen, living room, stairwell. We noticed it shortly after arrival at 5:30 and were on the phone with booking for 5 hours trying to convince the host this was a major health hazard, especially with two kids, and needed a new accommodation. It was semana Santa weekend and we had nowhere else to go. My daughter woke up with obvious mold issues and was sick for two days. Classic symptoms. The host said he didn’t agree the mold was an issue, told us to stop contacting him (even though booking said to keep reaching out), and said he could care less about my bad review. He was so rude and never apologized for obvious long-standing mold issues. Do not stay here! Also, the breakfast pictures looks like homemade bread and juice but it’s one pre-wrapped old boxed muffin, one per person. I’m disappointed booking will let this kind of accommodation stay on the listing.

  Dont risk your health!

  Disliked: The whole apartment was affected by dampness, there was a persistent unpleasant odour throughout, and mold was present on the walls in multiple rooms

  Great apartment north of Madrid

  Liked: Excellent location near Barajas Madrid airport but inside an upscale residential community. The apartment is large (for Spain standards), modern and well equipped. Mini split heat pump ACs are very quiet and clean which is not the case in some of the hotels near the Madrid airport. Short drive to many restaurant options in a safe environment. Perfect for guests traveling by car, flight layovers, and visiting historical sites north of Madrid. This is a two level apartment with bedrooms and a living area on the second level. There was a slight drain smell downstairs in the kitchen area apparently due to a construction next door, but that didn’t bother us on the second floor. We got tons of rest after traveling extensively throughout the country. Great value. Great host. Will definitely consider it on future trips to Madrid. Gracias
