Disliked: A terrible experience. Our room was extremely dirty and had an overpowering mouldy, musty smell. We kept coughing throughout our time in the hotel and felt very uncomfortable. At around 1 a.m., we discovered cockroaches in our room. My friend was already asleep, and I had to wake her up. She immediately jumped out of bed, and we rushed out of the room. I have never experienced anything so disgusting in a hotel. When we went to reception, the staff member asked whether we had taken a photo. Taking pictures at 1 a.m. was the last thing on our minds—we just wanted to get out of the room. He did not seem surprised at all, which made us wonder whether this had happened before. His attitude was rude and dismissive. We asked him to call the manager, but he said this was not possible during the night and told us to come back the next day. When we returned the following morning, he again said he could not call the manager and told us it was “not his problem.” He said the most he could do was arrange for the room to be cleaned. How is ordinary cleaning supposed to deal with cockroaches and such a strong, persistent musty smell? Although we were given another room, it was intended for only one person. The original bed was already very small for two people, and the replacement room had an even smaller bed. We eventually left the hotel because we could no longer tolerate the conditions. Despite everything, we received no refund. I honestly cannot understand the positive reviews about cleanliness, because our experience was completely different. The hotel was filthy, and we felt deeply uncomfortable throughout our stay. I strongly advise against booking this hotel. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
Good location and value for the money
Liked: Location, luggage storage, they provided iron when I asked, called taxi for me, there is a bar/restaurant right next to the property if you need coffee in the morning, room was cleaned everyday
Disliked: The pillow and bed were impossible to sleep in the first night, very uncomfortable, the pillow is flat, I struggled to fall asleep as my neck was in so much pain, maybe pillows should be changed, improved
