  Liked: Location is great, just off the beach. We were able to hear the waves from the ocean at night. The apartment is very spacious. The beds were comfortable. The living room has AC. Very clean. There is a huge parking lot near by were parking is free. Lots of great restaurants and cafes right around the corner. The market and downtown are only a 15 min walk away.

  Disliked: The furniture in the apartment is a bit outdated, which did not bother us. Except for the couch which should be replaced. Very uncomfortable and shows signs of wear and tear. The dishwasher did not work.

  Disappointing stay due to poor cleanliness, maintenance, and a lack of safety requirements

  Liked: The property's main strengths were its location and generally spacious living area. It is very well located, just a very short walk from the beach and supermarkets, while the surrounding area was generally quiet (however, parking was very limited, and driving in the area could be tricky).

  Disliked: Unfortunately, our experience with the flat was disappointing. Many of the kitchen utensils stored in the cupboards and drawers were still dirty. The dishwasher was not working and was itself unclean, with dirty items left inside that appeared to have been there for some time. Other appliances, including the fridge, oven, toaster and coffee machine, had not been cleaned at all or not properly cleaned, and I only felt comfortable using the fridge after cleaning it myself. The washing machine was also unusable due to visible rust and mould. I reported most of these issues to the host within hours of arrival, but no action was taken during our stay. We were also concerned that the property did not appear to meet basic safety standards. There was no first aid kit, no fire extinguisher, a non-functioning carbon monoxide alarm, and no emergency information pack with contact details for guests. As I was staying with my parents, both in their mid-70s, I found this particularly concerning. I also raised these issues with Booking.com, but no agreement could be reached with the host and the only resolution offered was a 50€ Booking.com voucher. We later discovered that both internal patios were heavily soiled with pigeon droppings and regularly frequented by pigeons, which could be heard from early in the morning. The only window in one of the bedrooms overlooked one of these patios, while the main bathroom window faced the other. In addition, the shower head was damaged. Overall, the poor standard of cleanliness, lack of maintenance and apparent disregard for basic safety requirements had a significant negative impact on our stay. The convenient location, close to the beach, supermarkets and within walking distance of Almería city centre, was the property's main redeeming feature.

  Excellent stay

  Liked: Stayed here as a group of 2 adults and 3 children. The location is excellent, beautiful beach. Lots of restaurants and cafes, walking distance to city centre. The apartment was large enought and bonus is 2 bathrooms. Also very easy to check in and check out as there is no key and access is with electronic lock with pin code. The host sent me very detailed instructions how to get in when we will arrive. Highly recommend this place.

  The best short break we have had this year

  Liked: The location of the property could not have been better, right on the beach (no sea view unless you put your head out the window but it’s not advertised as a sea view) very quiet location even when the beach and bars were busy. Good mattresses and very spaces apartment

  Disliked: Parking is a bit of an issue as spaces on the street are at a premium, you can load and unload right outside, there are plenty of car parks a short walk away so not an issue for us and the area feels very safe and who doesn’t like an excuse to walk along the beach. Needs a kettle for us (Brits love their tea)

  Liked: The staff was fantastic. comfy beds and cozy apartament. A few meters from the beach. Tons of restaurants and cafés nearby.
