  Beautiful apartment in a stunning location, but it needs better sound insulation

  Liked: An amazing apartment in a beautiful historic building, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and very well equipped. The location simply couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the old town, with everything within easy walking distance. One of the highlights is opening the window and looking directly onto Calle Mayor, soaking up the atmosphere and charm of the historic center. Staying in such a beautiful building makes the experience even more special.

  Disliked: We stayed there for a few nights in July, and unfortunately, the noise in the main bedroom was unbearable. The restaurants stay open late, and then the cleaning and tidying up begins. People remain in the square well past 3:00 a.m., and then, very early in the morning (around 5:00 a.m.), the council starts cleaning the streets with water jets. Maryanne provides earplugs, but they were not enough to block out the noise. It’s unfortunate that the council has not given her permission to replace the windows with better soundproof ones. It’s a pity because, with better windows, our stay could have been a 10/10.
