Fabulous
Pleasant stay. Good location
Liked: The location was fantastic, close to sea /pebble beach and within 5 mins of the old town. Bars and restaurants within 2min walk along sea front. Apartment was very spacious and well equipped.
Disliked: The balcony immediately outlook wasn’t very nice, overlooking adjacent building/other balconies. Looking forwards to/backward you can see the beach and buildings around old town. The garage was very tight to park in. We arrived on a Sunday and left on a Saturday morning so considered out of hours…. Therefore agent would not meet us but instead we had to drive 10 mins away to collect keys from a drop box with a code and then when leaving drive back to the offices to drop off keys. This could be a problem if you do not have a rental car. Rent and deposit was taken 2 days before arrival (not through booking.com but directly to agent) and deposit was returned 2 days after leaving once I contacted agent to prompt a return.
Good but not great
Liked: The location close to the sea, the terrace, the comfortable bed, good beach chairs, and the Bose soundbar.
Disliked: The lack of any cosmetics (at least for the first day a bit of shower gel and soap), two large towels and two hand towels for a week for two guests is not enough. The advertised sea view is in fact a sea glimpse. Getting into the underground parking is a huge challenge for any car larger than an average sedan. For four out of seven days (including the departure day), the elevator didn't work.

Had a fabulous time in apartment and Altea
Liked: The walk from the property to collect the keys was far too much. Nobody there when I eventually got there. The lady had tried to contact me but used Ireland dial code instead of UK so I had to wait outside for 2 hours. Would be much better to meet at apartment as happens day of departure. Lift didn’t work on first day. Everything else was perfect.
