Exceptional
Excellent, I really enjoyed staying here. The Altea hills are a beautiful location
Liked: Very peaceful and quiet location. Had a magnificent balcony with a beautiful view of the Altea hills and the sea in the distance. The hosts had left a BBQ with coals for us to use which we used one night. The property was very modern and although I didn’t cook in the kitchen it appeared to be well stocked with all the essentials.
Disliked: The only suggestions I can make is that a few BBQ tools would have been useful such as a tongs or metal spatula, and the bedrooms needed some bedside lamps. Everything else was perfect.

Liked: Casa Dorada – Altea Hills We stayed for three nights while viewing properties in the area and had a great experience. The apartment is very spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The terrace and hot tub were definite highlights and made it feel like a real retreat. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish. The area was extremely quiet, which allowed for wonderful sleep — a big plus, especially compared to other accommodation we stayed in during this trip. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
Exceptional stay
Liked: We stayed at Casa Dorada for 5 nights as a family and absolutely loved it! The apartment was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed — from a coffee machine to plenty of kitchen utensils. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, which made it easy to rest after exploring. The large terrace was the highlight — with stunning views, a jacuzzi, and a BBQ we used often. It was the perfect spot to relax in the mornings and evenings. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is peaceful and quiet, ideal for a relaxing getaway. You’ll need a car, as shops and restaurants are about 10–15 minutes away, but that’s part of its charm — it’s beautifully tucked away from the busy areas.
Disliked: Honestly, nothing! Everything was lovely. Just note to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but that’s not really a complaint — the stay was wonderful in every way.
