Very good
Liked: The property was very centrally located, close to the beach and the train station. It was very clean and Victoria was very helpful when it came to questions and requests.
Sorry but I would not stay there again as a single person
Liked: Location. Bed was Comfortable
Disliked: Not good value for money. Felt more like a building with rooms rather than a hotel. No one to ask questions of. I only saw the cleaner who was very pleasant but could not speak English. As a single person staying in the facility I did not really enjoy it.
Nice clean interesting/historic place to stay in Altea
Liked: Location, character,cleanlinesss.
Disliked: Slight road noise.
Fine location for Public Transport and the sea
Liked: Very close to the tram station and also convenient for long distance buses.Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Coffee and snacks available. Reasonably spacious room.
Disliked: TV remote didn't work
Not bad, not great
Liked: The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well. The shower was nice as well. The location was convenient, very close to both the beach and the old town. Despite being on a main road and next to the train station, there wasn't too much noise. The staff were friendly, there were coffee and breakfast supplies at no additional cost.
Disliked: We were asked for photos of our identification documents, which is illegal in Spain. In fairness - when we challenged this practice, they deleted the photos and took the information they needed in an appropriate way. The air conditioning worked well, but it was locked at 23°C, which is slightly too cold, so we were up during the night turning it on and off. The floors were a bit dirty, but not awful. There were some other odd issues as well. For example, we didn't get hand soap until the third night of our stay. We were using the body wash supplied by the hotel until then. Also, the towel hooks were circular, which meant the towels kept sliding onto the floor, which was a bit annoying.
