Rude staff..room above a very noisy bar
Liked: Location good amazing views of seafront central for old town and marina area and a 5-10min walk from Tram station..However hostel is on main front and above a noisy bar which stayed open until at least 03.00 am
Disliked: The staff!! There is no reception area and booking into hotel is via a bar..we had to call out several times to alert staff that we had arrived..absolutely no welcome and no information offered..we were completely ignored during our stay..night porter very odd..the only person who spoke and was polite was the young lady who cleaned the rooms...rooms very very basic but clean toiletries were sachets..there was a horrendous smell coming from kitchen when we returned around 10 pm one evening..breakfast extremely poor. Again rude staff..Wifi poor but least of our worries....lift ancient and unreliable was afraid to use..didnt feel welcome at all..

Liked: Location fantastic, breakfast a little bit of a let down for the price. Overall a fantastic Hotel with great Staff and rooms.
Disliked: Maybe a Kettle in the Room, which by the way are fabulous.
Very enjoyable stay in Altea
Liked: A basic small hotel but clean and serviced daily. We had room overlooking the beach with great views. Location was great for us as we were visiting relatives in Altea it’s right on the beach front loads of bars restaurants etc.
Disliked: No tea making facial but we brought our own
