Exceptional
Liked: Brilliant location - a couple of minutes uphill to the old town; with the same downhill to the town and beachfront.
Disliked: We had a bedside toilet and shower. Call me old fashioned but I feel very uncomfortable with a glass toilet in the bedroom. Married 30 years but this wasn't comfortable. We took turns to sit on the balcony while the other needed to use the facility.
Fairytale place
Liked: This was a little slice of heaven on earth. It was compact and had everything you needed. The cleaning services were excellent and I could not have asked for a better stay as a female solo traveler
Luxurious stay
Liked: They thought of everything. Everything. It’s chic, clean, all mod cons, cleaned every day. As a solo travelling person I felt so safe and cared for.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything including umbrellas were provided. Also a first aid kit.
Lovely clean central apartment perfect for exploring Altea
Liked: The property is exactly as seen on images on booking. We stayed in the courtyard room and it was lovely to be close to the plunge pool which is actually a great pool and plenty of lounge space. The apartment is 5 mins from the beach and 5 mins the other way to the old town perfect. Bring comfy footwear it’s cobblestone when you’re off the main promenade. Staff were lovely very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Two things very minor one was there was little to no storage space and there was a lovely coffee machine but the mugs provided were too big for using with the machine. We used the paper cups from the water dispenser.
Gorgeous room in a great location
Liked: Gorgeous room with a lovely sea view. The location was great - close to the beach and the old town and very quiet given how busy Altea was. Had a little kitchen area with good size fridge. The air con was fab. Would highly recommend for a stay in Altea.
Disliked: Only slight negative was the initial entry instructions of how to access the property were slightly confusing and long winded.
Careful as you have to be fit to walk with bags to the unit
Liked: We thought it was accessible by car but it was not and it’s in a residential area.
Disliked: We never got access as we were with elderly and it has not vehicles access and it’s far from where you can park. We were not told this so could not stay and had to cancel on the day and didnt get any refunds.
