  Amazing

  Liked: The property was fabulous, the location was great, the space was clean and new and perfect for a getaway in Altea The host was also very easy to contact for anything we needed (all we needed was restaurant recommendations)

  Altea worth visiting…

  Liked: Great location! Beautiful town of Altea, remarkable similarities with Santorini (Greece)

  Disliked: Smoke filled…contacted Kate…very responsive…acknowledged “crazy” smokers occupied property before us and understandably out of her control…per Kate cleaners left “with the smoke smell gone”…we left property for hours with windows open and ACunit turned on as Kate suggested…upon returning not much of smoke odor has dissipated…we are seasoned travelers…we made the most of our circumstances…

  Nice apartment for the right traveler

  Liked: Nice little apartment with good location.

  Disliked: Parking is an issue in Altea. The apartment does not have private parking and on one night we had problems finding a space. It was winter so I can imagine summer would be impossible. So best not to have a car if you stay here. Also you cannot drive to the apartment so you either have to drag bags up the steep walk to the apartment, we are in good shape but a person not in good shape would have problems. Or you can drag bags a little farther by going down the hill, but Google maps would not get us there from the parking we used ten minutes away. Not easy as indicated but doable. The listing should disclose this issue with location and parking, also it is possible to pull you car closer to the apartment from the bottom of the hill, but you would need to back out and the find parking.

  Very helpful owner/staff and super nice apartment

  Liked: We booked late the same day. The apartment was super nice with all the ameneties you need, and located in a very cosy part of the town close to the amazing old church. We forgot parts of our luggage and the staff was super helpful and accomodating regarding this. Really friendly attitude and also personal which made you feel at home right away. Would love to stay there agan. Altea is a lovely little town - really recommend both the apartment and the Altea.
