  Liked: Everything! The place, specially the pool, location and on top of all, the staff. Raul was an excellent host making sure we have our best time there and we did!

  Fantastic family holiday in a well located spacious villa

  Liked: Villa Maria is a modern and clean 2 storey semi-detached villa with a pool and a really handy outdoor kitchen (plus an indoor one). It is located on a quiet street but within 5 minutes walk to supermarkets, cafes and bars, with the beach around a 15 minute walk away. We loved the outdoor kitchen and bbq and the inside space worked really well for us as a group of 3 families. Having 3 bathrooms was great and the washing machine was a bonus too!

  Disliked: It would have been good if there was a separate loo downstairs - there are 2 on the ground floor, but they are both in en suites. Not a ‘didn’t like’, but a metal shovel and bucket for cleaning the bbq, and a dishwasher would be great additions too.

  Great family holiday!

  Liked: Pool and layout of villa was excellent. Communication with hosts was great! Really enjoyed our time at the villa, would recommend to all! The location was good - not far from the beach and plenty of places to eat around the area. Would definitely stay again!

  Liked: The host Raul was very easy to contact and the property was lovely and clean. Pool was beautiful and is in a great location. Absolutely fantastic

  Liked: Location was fantastic, ideally situated near to fabulous restaurants, bars and shops on the main strip. Just a short stroll down to the front promenade and beach. Ideal for all our family group aging from 20 to 85.

  Disliked: Only suggestion is, possibly, making the kitchen in the garage more attractive. Maybe a kettle and a toaster in there will save guests having to keep moving them from upstairs kitchen to garage, especially for elder guests. And a cupboard on the garage wall would give more storage space for cup, plates, dishes etc. Again, avoiding the need to bring food and drinks from the upstairs kitchen and, hopefully, preventing any accidents.

  Looking over the wall- I’d say next doors villa is the one we should have booked, especially for the price we paid - so

  Liked: Just completed a family holiday in Villa Maria and although the location for beach, restaurant and activities couldn’t be better - the Villa certainly could be.

  Disliked: So where do I start - with the wooden flooring that is lifting and cracking, or the curtains hanging by a thread? Let me try and paint a full picture. Villa Maria is very dated and in some places - in total disrepair. BBQ should not be advertised as a facility it’s so filthy and the gazebo is a contraption waiting to collapse. Swimming pool has no depth indicators which I’m not even sure is legal where children are staying, so please be aware the deep end is at least 7 foot deep. Back garden is a storage area for old glass windows and an old garage is what is classed as the outdoor kitchen. En suite shower cubicles on the ground floor are tiny and you will spend half your time trying to lock external doors with keys that stick or remembering to put a long screw in the patio doors (advised form of security!) The aircon leaked over our pillows during the night and we seriously believe the electrics need redoing before there is an accident - bare cables visible on the outside patio ceiling and there are enough extension cables to cause a small fire being used to power fridge, washer, microwave in the garage/outdoor kitchen.
