  A Characterful Campervan with Real Charm

  Liked: A genuinely special campervan experience. The engine is in excellent condition and felt solid and reliable throughout, which is no small thing for a van of this age. Driving a 50-year-old camper is very much part of the appeal — it’s huge fun, especially if you love classic vehicles. The van attracts attention everywhere you go, with people stopping to smile, wave, and start conversations. Renting it also helps keep this beautiful piece of history on the road, so others get to enjoy it in the future too. The owner is super helpful and clearly passionate, with lots of thoughtful touches that make everything easy and well prepared. A memorable, characterful way to travel if you’re happy to trade modern perfection for charm and experience.

  Liked: We had great time in Renault 4, it is old car but it is all described on booking, and you see it on the photo, so if you are realistic and know what to expect you will enjoy it. It gives you freedom to explore the island, sleep on the beach, or where you like, specialy when off the season. Enrico and his daughter were great hosts, with many helpfull tips.

  Highly recommended for people who love camping and/or want to try something different!

  Liked: The host sent us an informative video as soon as we booked the car in order for us to know how things work there, which was very useful for us. He fetched us from the airport, he was very kind and helpful and he was available to reply to all of our messages very fast. The car was fun to drive and there was no problem with it whatsoever, even though it is a little old. There are a lot of spaces to park and "camp" around the island and it is very convenient that you can sleep wherever you want without losing any time. We are definitely booking again! Just keep in mind that he car is a little old, so some things work differently. This is not a problem, but you need to get used to it (it took me 1 day and I am not a super experienced driver).

  you must have experience driving old cars

  Liked: It is a very old campervan, good for getting around and sleeping near the beach or in nature.

  Disliked: We had a lot of mechanical problems with the van and in the end needed a substitute van so before renting check that the van has been repaired. The owner was very apologetic and helpful but it is not an easy vehicle to drive. It is very small so anyone over 170cm would find it uncomfortable. Be prepared to go back to very basics but it will give you stories to tell on your return
