Gran Canaria
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has Las Canteras beach, the old Vegueta quarter and a lively feel all year. The south, with Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés and Puerto de Mogán, has most of the beach hotels. Inland, Tejeda and the Roque Nublo have country houses.
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura
In Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca are the resort areas, with Timanfaya and César Manrique's works as the main sights. In Fuerteventura, Corralejo in the north and Jandía in the south have the longest beaches, with plenty of wind.
