    A cozy, character-filled boat stay!

Liked: Absolutely loved my time here, so much so that I’d now like to learn how to sail! Jean-Yves was so welcoming and helpful. We chatted for a bit about what brought him to Lanzarote and about his previous boat! His boat is such a unique place to stay. It has so much character, and the community around the marina is really friendly, especially his neighbor Dave! The boat has electricity, a small stove, and a kitchen setup. There are two sets of bathrooms: one open to the public, and a private one with showers (accessible 24/7 with a code). There’s also a small supermarket in the marina, plus several restaurant options, and it’s well located for seeing the sights in Arrecife! Highly recommend booking this. Jean-Yves is a wonderful host, and I’m hoping to return for another visit!

A novel experience for a few days

Liked: The location is great being in the marina. There are various shops, cafes, restaurants in the marina. The boat was quite small, quite old, not modern but adequate for one person. I think two would be a squeeze. The bed area was big enough, and I am a tall man, I found it easy to sleep. It was a novel experience to stay on a boat. You would stay here for the novelty, not for comfort.

Disliked: The wi- fi did not exist, you must provide your own or use the wi- fi from one of the businesses in the marina. It was maybe a six minute walk to the bathroom facilities which were reasonable, but you are sharing with others who can be quite unclean in the way they leave the place. The bathroom area is cleaned once per day. The bathroom is opened from a phone app so you must have a phone with data. The linens, towel etc provided were basic but adequate.

Something different...cheap and cheerful. Lovely host

Liked: Ideal accommodation for one person. Few bars at the marina. More lively action in Costa Teguise or Puerto Del Carmen..easy reached by local buses if your prefer that 'British Tourist' kinda scene.

Disliked: Fair amount of walking required to do anything...(I was injured so difficult for me at time)
