Liked: 10 out of 10. An absolute little paradise on the Camino! I honestly don't think I've ever stayed in a hostel this clean and lovingly run. The host is simply wonderful: warm, caring, attentive, incredibly friendly and smart. You practically stay in her own home and get to share a little part of her world. The entire apartment is beautifully decorated and feels like a large, cosy living room where you immediately feel welcome and at home. What makes it even more special is that she is a Camino pilgrim herself and displays beautiful photographs from her own journeys along the different Caminos. You can really feel how much passion and love she has put into this place. The beds are excellent, the bathroom absolutely spotless, and in the morning there's a lovely little breakfast with muesli you can prepare yourself. Coffee and tea are available whenever you like, and there's even a small packed lunch. She also took care of my laundry immediately and happily accommodated my extra requests. The location is beautiful, right near the cathedral. I was also lucky that there were only two other guests staying that evening. Perhaps it was a little Camino magic, being in exactly the right place at exactly the right time. After so many nights in shared dormitories, I really needed somewhere to unwind and recharge. And that's exactly what I found here. A little oasis, almost a paradise. For the first time in a long while, I slept really well and for hours. A huge thank you! This is a place where hospitality isn't just offered, it's genuinely lived. A hostel with soul, heart and so much attention to detail. An absolute recommendation. 10 out of 10! George:)

    Not impressed

Liked: Single beds instead of bunks.

Disliked: Ten beds in fairly close quarters, a single toilet/shower room in the centre, low ceiling height. Bit like a slumber party with strangers. The breakfast included was a paper bag with a couple of cheap plastic-wrapped sweet carbs. Only instant coffee was free. Owner was not especially friendly. Better than a bulk dorm but not good value for money.

Disliked: Old mattress needs changing. Pillows way too thick.

Liked: The beds were comfortable and Patricia is a lovely host. I was able to get some badly needed laundry done and we had a lovely dinner. Bathroom facilities were clean and a decent size. Would stay again.
