  Majestic Astorga - would stay again

  Liked: A superb old building and the location is first class. Yet, the bedrooms are so very quiet. A charming hotel with a lovely bar area in the evenings for food. We opted for the set pilgrim meal nearby. But set breakfast was served in the stunning bar area with views over to the Palace. The staff were friendly.

  Disliked: It would be lovely to see the set Pilgrim meal served into the evening too. Even until 7pm. We like to eat a bit earlier and get our sleep.

  The staff was so helpfuland caring about my damaged foot and knee and my having to abandon my Camino walk

  Liked: Location is perfect. Staff is amazing, kind and helpful.

  Great location, poor facilities, appalling breakfast

  Liked: The location and the view from the room were outstanding. The welcome at the front desk was very good. The food in the restaurant was good. Convenient parking outside the front door.

  Disliked: The room had no facilities and the bathroom was very basic. The breakfast was the worst we have ever experienced - the food was extremely poor and the service was absolutely dreadful. No assistance with luggage was offered, even though both of of us are over 80 years old.
