Very good
Good value and such a great experience to stay in a grand old building
Liked: Lovely building in a good location. Very quiet in autumn for the courtyard facing rooms. Breakfast was very good.
Disliked: The aircon units in front of our window could have been potentially very noisy, but not in October

Disliked: Smells at entrance. Not an attentive staff member. Too expensive in comparison to top locations nearby. No one to help lift suitcases up many steps to room and no care to help. We lost our money for the stay as a result and did not check in but moved our luggage in a taxi to another hotel..
Gorgeous stay in heart of Heritage cuty
Liked: Great position. A beautiful old building with lots if atmosphere. The room had the right balance of antique features and modern facilities. Great bed and everything very clean. I brought the wrong power adaptor for Europe so the concierge charged my phone for me at the front desk.
Disliked: You have to be strong to carry your luggage up the stairs. As a coeliac I didn't book the breakfast but cafes often aren't open till 10. I suggest try talking to the owner. This was my mistake not doing so.

Excellent value and charming stay
Liked: Lovely hotel right in the heart of Avila. The breakfast included was simple but set us up for each day and the staff were really lovely throughout our stay! The room was great and decor was very charming. Value for money is excellent!
Disliked: Our room had some building work happening outside the window so some mornings were a bit disturbed. Not the most comfy bed but honestly a great stay and incredible value for money!
