Pleasant
Stay away like the plague!
Liked: Nothing to like. Awful place. I wouldn't have my dogs boarded there. Owner or Senior Manager, when I complained, just shrugged his shoulders, clearly could not give a damn.
Disliked: There was nothing to like. The place felt like a former mental asylum from a horror movie. Filthy rooms. Poor facilities. Average location. The grounds were the best bit but I did not pay to sleep in the grounds! Staff welcome was ok but slow. Owner/Manager was not up to scratch.
Disliked: The price was too high. And on top' of it, there was no air conditionning, not even fans. And at that price... it is just not acceptable.
Liked: Historical original features
Disliked: Too much of a feeling of a sanatorium rather than hotel/spa
Not worth it
Liked: It has some potential to be ok.
Disliked: Extra pet fees, moldy shower, water problems, tried to charge me for a dinner I didn’t eat, and most annoying, when I left something in the room after checkout and tried to contact them they just kept ignoring me. I know for a fact I left it there so…
Would always go back there
Liked: Great Location. Out of another century. We loved it
Good to know
People sleeping in the supplementary bed have breakfast included in the price but not usage of the spa treatments.
