Fabulous
Disliked: Shower ceiling was moldy
Liked: Location was good, lots of space to dry clothes, bed was comfortable.
Disliked: My bunk was in a corridor/hallway. The bathroom was too small, nowhere to put clothes in the shower cubicle.
Room for improvement!
Liked: This hostel is located directly on the Camino route and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. In fact, one of the nearby restaurants served what was arguably one of the best meals we had during our entire Camino journey. The bunk beds and bathroom facilities are perfectly adequate and provide what most pilgrims need for a night's stay.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the rest of the facilities are well below standard. The kitchen is extremely basic, with several items not functioning properly. There is a furnished courtyard that could be a pleasant place to relax, but the area feels neglected, poorly maintained, and dirty. The staff were also disappointing. They did not seem particularly service-minded and were unwilling to assist with even simple requests such as arranging a taxi. Overall, they came across as indifferent and uninterested in helping guests. While the location is excellent and the sleeping facilities are acceptable, the lack of maintenance and poor customer service significantly detract from the overall experience.
Great little Albergue with good facilities
Liked: A Great Albergue for those on the camino. Located in a small back street the location ensures a quiet nights rest. This albergue is run by 2 great guys who really look after it, and the cleanliness is a credit to them both.
Liked: On the Camino, nice garden area
Disliked: Staff were fairly surly, dryer expensive and didnt actually use heat to dry clothes, just tumbled them. Long way from Baiona, no services in Sabaris
Liked: The facilities were good.
Disliked: Very big dorm with a lot of people. The toilet is in the dormitory so it’s very loud in the evening and morning.
