Exceptional
Incredible. I can't wait to go back!
Liked: The hotel staff were in credibly friendly and helpful. I have never stayed at a hotel with such an amazing service - the reception staff, the transport people, the spa receptionist and the ski hire shop. I also broke my ankle and they let me have the room until 2pm with no extra charge (& it was a Saturday)
Disliked: There was one lady on breakfast duty who was helpful but didn't ever smile and seemed miserable. I only mention it because everyone else was so friendly and smiley!
Liked: breakfast was buffet and eggs a la carte
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you don’t speak the local languages and don’t expect five-star experience during peak
Liked: The reception staff spoke good English and were very helpful with our questions. The food offered in the restaurant is generally quite nice, sushi in particular was delicious given the location. The ski rental was conveniently located in the hotel.
Disliked: Overall, we felt that the level of service did not meet the expectations typically associated with a five-star hotel. Upon arrival, there was no introduction to the property or its facilities. We had to ask for basic information individually—such as the location of restaurants, ski lift access, return transportation, and dinner times. Communication was another challenge. A number of staff members, particularly within the restaurant team, spoke limited English, making it difficult at times to convey our needs. On one occasion, we requested the dessert menu and waited several minutes, only to be presented with the bill instead. Some staff also appeared inattentive. During the New Year’s Eve gala, a waitress handing out appetisers skipped our group entirely. While we recognise that the staff may have been overworked, as guests paying peak-season rates, we would reasonably expect a consistently high standard of service.

Liked: The staff is great, the hotel location is perfect for skiing and the cleaners do a good job
Disliked: Old rooms with old very soft madras, not very well insulated so room felt cold. Not impressed by the quality of food offered in the restaurants or room service
Staff were amazing
Liked: The staff were exceptional, even when the hotel got super busy. No extra charge for Spa use. Very attentive with transfers up to the ski lift. Concierge was excellent. Nice little extras like sweets in the room, popcorn at apre, Commentary welcome drink etc.
Disliked: It’s a dated hotel - which normally we wouldn’t care about but they couldn’t turn the in floor heat off.. so it was too hot to sleep. We also had a small queen bed - which again, normally is fine if it’s comfortable, but this bed was not- way too springy with a hard ring around the top. Part of the reason we booked this hotel was to use the Jacuzzi which was of course not working.
Liked: Excellente ambiance. Personnel et directeur aux petits soins.
