Made our time in Barcelona so much better having this place as our base
Liked: The property had everything we needed, it was spacious and clean, the guy who gave us the key came really quickly even though we forgot to message them in advance and he was lovely. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed and super close to the beach!
Disliked: For 6 people, we would have appreciated more than 2 sets of keys, but we managed okay.
Liked: Very nice appartment, it has everything you need for a pleasant stay in Barcelona. The host waited for us with keys and showed us arround. The metro stations and the beach is near and we really enjoyed our stay.

Liked: The only upside was the cleanliness of the apartment. Witch wasn’t anything out of the ordinary just the only redeemable quality.
Disliked: * Absolutely terrible location. The property is just 10 meters away from a drug rehabilitation center, so in the morning you’ll wake up to a line of addicts right outside the door. On top of that, the neighborhood is one of the most infamous in Barcelona, called La Mina (look it up on Google). At night, it felt scary walking through the deserted streets, where the only people around were shady individuals. The streets around the apartment are full of syringes and trash, making it dangerous for both children and adults. It’s also far from any kind of attraction or interesting place in Barcelona, and is only slightly redeemed by the fact that there’s some public transport connection. * The pool was disgusting. Often closed even during hours when it was supposed to be open, with almost stagnant water that hadn’t been changed in months. Since it’s the communal pool for the entire building, there was a strong smell of urine and other bodily fluids—absolutely revolting. I went once and never again. * The apartment itself was embarrassing. Advertised as sleeping 7 people but actually had only 6 beds (all damaged and almost unsafe). The so-called seventh “bed” was just a sofa bed with a metal bar running across the middle, making it impossible to sleep on—I have no idea how they have the nerve to call it a bed. * The scam. As if the disastrous experience with the apartment wasn’t enough, we also faced a very unpleasant situation. At the start of our holiday, we were asked to send nearly €400 to a bank account as a deposit. At the end of the stay, they accused us of damaging the refrigerator (which was working perfectly before and after our stay), pointing to a tiny scratch in the paint as the reason and claiming the damage was €500. This is clearly an attempt at fraud, and we plan to complain to Booking, although we’ll likely have little chance since the deposit was paid directly to the property managers.
