  I would recommend this place. In my case it was 90% of what I was expected

  Liked: I liked worker(receptionist) of this place a lot, she was doing her job great, I like that hotel situated in good area and next to bus stops and metro. As well there was a lot of places in room where you can put your luggage comfortably and they have as well option of saving some of your things in some storage room to which only receptionist has access. They have guitar and pool and table football in first floor so if you are into this type of things you’ll be able enjoy.

  Disliked: Maybe I’m asking of a lot,but I was booking room for 2 people and there was no shampoo and shower gel. I understand that provide this things to rooms which contains a lot of people could be pricey but I was hoping that room for 2 people would have at least shower gel.

  Liked: Clean, friendly, organised, easy, all essentials covered. Just a few subway stops to the city center.

  Disliked: It was quite a small room, hostel style and exactly as described. It just wasn't ideal for a couples city break. Bunks etc. Nothing to do with the place. It was as described and the place was super functional. Says more about us. Given the price and last minute reservation it was good. We did get a multi day subway pass for airport city and the tram tides to from city. Worth it. We missed last subway one night then it was a 15 euro über. That caught us out, but our fault really.

  Very nice place

  Liked: Friendly staff. Good shower. Comfortable bed and quilt.

  Disliked: 3rd floor and no elevator. Couldn't get heat. Billiard balls missing

  Massive cockroaches, cancellation following a factual review etc

  Liked: The location remains good.

  Disliked: The additional roommates in room 209, massive cockroaches (photo + video), a dirty bathroom and an extremely loud group of Italian students. Leevin is deteriorating super fast, a shame, because it used to be a great hostel. Update, 21 October 2026, in response to the property: My reference to “additional roommates” meant the cockroaches, not excess occupancy. There were multiple very large cockroaches in room 209, documented in photographs. I have also seen other guests report cockroaches on Google Maps, which raises concerns that this is a recurring issue. I understand that insects can enter buildings, but general assurances about pest control do not address these repeated reports. The bathrooms have also become noticeably dirtier compared with my many earlier stays. Your references to cleaning standards and quiet-hour rules do not reflect the conditions I experienced. Based on how my complaints have been handled, I would advise against booking directly with Leevin. My earlier complaints have remained unresolved for more than two weeks, despite repeated messages and assurances of an investigation. Your response says you hope to welcome me back. Yet on 19 October, after my complaints and review, you accepted another paid direct booking, then cancelled it and informed me that I was excluded from future stays. No ban had been communicated before I booked. That payment has now been refunded, but my earlier complaints remain unresolved. I have also submitted a GDPR access request, which Leevin has acknowledged, and separately requested invoices and payment records for all my stays since 27 December 2025. This includes tourist tax paid in cash, for which I do not recall receiving receipts on some occasions. I have concerns about the documentation of these payments and want to verify how they were recorded. I used to recommend Leevin. The deterioration in cleanliness and the handling of these complaints have changed that.

  Liked: You can't mess up the location.

  Disliked: First night booked directly... The bed was full of very stains, hair and the staff also confirmed someone else slept on it. Second night... overbooked and in code red weather you simply receive a cancellation message. After insisting I was offered a room with two beds, which is for friends of couples. A few hours later another overbooked guest arrived with diarrhea, which went to the bathroom every 30 minutes. Two weeks later no refund or compensation was provided. Updated 21 October 2026: the property’s response needs correcting. The dirty bedding and the overbooking concerned two different nights. 2–3 October, booked directly: My assigned bed had visible dirty marks and hairs, with a charger still plugged in. A staff member inspected it. No alternative bed was available, and no fresh sheets were offered. The bathroom was also extremely dirty. On 3 October, Leevin apologised in writing for the conditions and for my having to sleep there. Their public statement that clean sheets were offered does not match what happened that night. I did not decline an offer to change that bedding. 3–4 October, booked through Booking.com: At 19:59, I received a cancellation message citing overbooking. After I objected, I was eventually placed in a twin room. Another overbooked guest arrived later. There were no bed curtains, and repeated bathroom visits disturbed my sleep. Leevin calls this an “upgrade”, but fewer beds did not translate into adequate privacy or a restful night. This alternative room was provided because of the second night’s overbooking; it did not resolve the previous night’s dirty bedding. I reported the problems the following morning. 12–14 October: During a later two-night stay in room 209, I encountered multiple large cockroaches and a dirty shower. Leevin has acknowledged receiving a cockroach photograph. 19 October: After my complaints and Booking.com review, Leevin accepted another paid booking through its own website, then cancelled it and informe
